Peer-review process
The JEES journal is a globally distributed publication overseen by Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. The research article submitted to this online journal will undergo a double-blind peer review process, where both the reviewer and the author will remain anonymous to each other. There will be a minimum of two reviewers for the article. Research articles that have been approved will be accessible online after undergoing the journal's peer-review process. The language employed in this journal is English.
In order to detect plagiarism, the JEES Editor will conduct a thorough examination of the manuscript's title, abstract, and body text. This will involve both manual screening using offline and internet databases, as well as the utilization of advanced plagiarism detection technologies such as Turnitin and iThenticate. If any sign of plagiarism is detected, the editorial board will promptly reject the submission.
Evaluation Procedure:

-
Editorial Decision: The editor makes a determination: rejected, requiring substantial adjustment, necessitating a minor revision, or accepted.

-
Revision Process: The author is expected to promptly return the amended manuscript. Submissions returned after more than three months are considered new submissions.
